All right, Clever Crew, we've got some big news. Beginning in 2025, we're going to start introducing a brand new segment at the end of each episode. And trust us, you're gonna love it. We would not do anything without knowing you guys were gonna love it, because we hear you, we see you, we listen to you. And it's going to be called Not Nice Advice. This is where we, your favorite co-hosts, along with our amazing guests, are gonna answer your questions live on these calls.
We're going to talk real talk, no fluff, straight to the point advice on all things business, branding mindset. You know it is like nothing's off on the table. I'm, I'm super stoked. if Dom listens to this episode, he's going to be upset if we don't name him because, he was on a road trip listening to not nice clever. And he was like, you should start a segment. This is my husband, y'all. You should start a segment called not nice advice. And of course he's trying to like.
get paid for this. Oh, that's right. I'll shout out to Dom for coming up with the Not Nice Advice segment. That actually has quickly become one of my favorite parts of our show. We have already recorded a few episodes that are coming out in 2025 using this new segment. And I'm just so excited for you to be able to submit your questions and get
not nice advice from true experts who are not sugarcoating anything, but telling it like it is. Like if you were their client, this is what they would say. So that's why I'm very excited about this. What not nice advice is about is sharing a tricky situation. If you're wondering something like how to set your rates or if you feel like you're in a creative rut or if you feel like you're just not growing at the
speed that you want to, anything that is impacting your business or your life for that matter that you need support with, that's what Not Nice Advice is about. Yeah. So our first episode just around the corner for y'all in 2025 is actually featuring Amy Landino, who is on Gary Vaynerchuk's Speakers Bureau. She is a author, a speaker, a coach in her own right. Y'all will love that episode. Candice and I had so much fun recording with Amy.
But here's an example of what somebody had written in. And I think it's really important, Candice, to let folks know you can submit your questions anonymously. Yes. We know it can be tough to admit that you need help or maybe sometimes because you're at a certain part in your journey, you think your question is silly or not worth the time or a dumb question. So we wanted to make this easy to fill out anonymously. We really want to help you guys because you're just shooting yourself in the foot.
if you're not raising your hand, even anonymously to ask for some help on not nice advice. And no matter where you are in your journey, this is for you. So you don't have to be at any certain place. I know that sometimes you feel like if you're further along in your journey, you feel dumb for asking questions that you feel like you should know already. And this is not that y'all safe space to ask anything. Seriously. So on Amy's episode that you guys are going to hear, this was the question that somebody had submitted and it was talking about wanting to pivot, which end of the year,
New year, honestly, any day of the week with me, I feel like I have an identity crisis like all the time. It's always top of mind, right? So this person was asking, I've been wanting to pivot my business for a while now, but I'm terrified of losing everything I've built. Ooh, yeah. Alienating your existing audience, your existing email lists, your existing clientele. I get it. This person was saying, because of that fear, I keep saying yes to projects that don't align with my bigger vision just to stay safe.
How do I break this cycle and finally start moving toward the business I really want? And guys, Amy was almost not even more not nice than Candice and I would have been when answering this. Right, Candice? Yeah. I love her energy when answering this because she just went in, like I said, like you were her actual client. Yeah. And people pay her thousands and thousands of dollars to meet with her. So y'all take advantage of asking your questions to these experts.
that we have on every week. other guest we had, Candace, you should share this one because this one is a great one. So the other guest that we had on is Eric Simon. You might know him better as the broke agent. I actually just went to his event that he had in Las Vegas called Bam Mania. It's going to be an annual event from now on. And I was blown away by the community that he's built. Yeah. And how much
progress and growth and scaling that he's done since he began as the broke agent, which is essentially kind of a meme account to now where he really supports people in building their brands, building their online presence, super smart guy. So Eric Simon, we asked him for the are not nice advice segment. I've been committed to building my presence on Instagram for about six months now.
And while I've been pouring hours into creating content and have stayed consistent, it feels like I'm shouting into the void. I'm not getting engagement even when I ask questions in the captions. I'm starting to wonder if I'm wasting my time and how do I create content that actually connects with my audience? So these are the types of questions we're asking to people who've seen success in building their online presence and
Spoiler alert, he kind of giggled a little when we were like, he's like six months, six months is nothing. That's like six minutes in digital time. So you're going to want to submit your questions to us kind of dear Abby style, give us some context so that our guests can understand how to speak directly to you and give you their best, not nice advice.
Yes. So permission to ask anything truly. We want you to reach out. This is for you. This show just keeps getting better and better in our community, stronger and stronger when you guys participate. when Candice and I are chatting on Not Nice Clever and even with our guests, like we're imagining your faces, your voices, like, you know, the clever crew have been with us since the beginning, Sarah, Chris, Jose, Brian, like all of you guys. So let us help you.
please, we want 2025 to be the best year yet and slide into our DMs or pop into the show notes. There's a form where you can submit your question, Dear Abby style, Gossip Girl style, whatever generation style will make sense for you. And we so look forward to answering your questions along with our incredible guests in the new year and beyond. Thanks for joining us on Not Nice,
